Skintech PPF Warranty

This warranty is a guarantee of quality and craftsmanship, ensuring your Skintech PPF products are free from manufacturing defects. It applies exclusively to the original vehicle owner and is NON-TRANSFERABLE. The warranty is valid only when our film products are professionally installed by a certified Skintech PPF dealer. The coverage period begins on the recorded installation date, provided proof of purchase and installer details are completed and presented to validate and claim service.

Acceptable Warranty Claims

Our warranty guarantees that our film products will be free from manufacturing defects. You may file a claim for issues that arise from normal use, including:

Cracking of the film
Yellowing or discoloration
Delaminating (separation of film layers)
Degumming (adhesive failure)
Bubbling not related to installation

Exclusions from Coverage

The warranty does not cover damage caused by external factors or improper care. The following conditions are not covered:

Installer Error: Products with known or visible flaws that were installed. It is the installer’s responsibility to inspect the items prior to installation.
Improper Care or Misuse: Damage to the film or paint caused by improper washing procedures, automated car washes, harmful cleaning products, or a lack of periodic service.
Environmental Damage: Damage from acid rain, fuel spills, bird droppings, tree sap, insect stains, road salts, or chemical fallout.
Non-Certified Installation: Films installed at facilities or by installers not certified by Skintech PPF.
Improper Handling: Damage resulting from improper storage, handling, or misuse of the film.
External Damage: Damage from accidents, collisions, road debris, or vandalism.

Contact Your Installer: Reach out to your original Skintech PPF Authorized Installer for a preliminary inspection of the issue.
Gather Documentation: Prepare your proof of service (invoice/warranty card) and any photos or videos of the defect.

Skintech Review: Our team reserves the right to inspect the vehicle and determine if the claim qualifies. If approved, replacement film will be provided under warranty.

Important: Your claim will be reviewed. Any misuse or damage caused by a lack of periodic service will not be covered under this warranty. This includes, but is not limited to, failure to follow recommended care procedures.

Recommended Care for Skintech PPF

For maximum performance and longevity of your film, follow these recommended care instructions:

Follow your vehicle manufacturer’s specifications for external surface care.
Post-Installation: Avoid washing your vehicle for at least three days after installation to allow the film to properly cure.
After the initial curing period, hand-wash your vehicle using a quality car soap, clean water, and high-quality microfiber wash materials.
Avoid: Do not use automatic car washes, high-pressure nozzles, steam, or power washers directly on the film, as this can cause lifting or damage, especially on the film edges.
